Good to know
Everything people ask before booking.
If yours isn't here, message me directly — I answer these myself.
Who are these retreats for?
+
Mostly solo travelers in their late 20s through 40s who want a real trip rather than a resort. People comfortable meeting strangers and up for a bit of adventure.
Do I have to come with friends?
+
Not at all — most guests come solo. You’re welcome to bring people too, and group rates are available for larger parties.
What is the typical group size?
+
Usually 8–12 guests, occasionally up to 14. Kept small on purpose so it never feels like a tour group.
What fitness level is required?
+
It varies by trip and is shown as an activity level on every retreat card. Most sit at moderate, with easier options available for nearly every activity.
What is included?
+
Lodging, meals, activities, guides and instructors, and all transport during the retreat. Specifics are listed trip by trip.
What isn’t included?
+
Flights to the destination, alcohol, personal expenses and travel insurance.
How do payments work?
+
A deposit holds your spot, then the balance is split into automatic monthly or bi-weekly payments before departure.
What is the cancellation policy?
+
Deposits are non-refundable. Refund windows on the balance vary by trip and are shown clearly at checkout.
Do I need travel insurance?
+
It isn’t included, but it’s strongly recommended on every trip.
How do I get to the destination?
+
You book your own flights to the nearest airport. You’ll get a suggested arrival window and pickup details ahead of time.
What happens if weather affects an activity?
+
Guides adjust on the ground and swap in a comparable backup. It happens, and it’s usually where the best stories come from.
Are retreats LGBTQ+ friendly?
+
Yes. Every retreat is a welcoming, inclusive space — always.
What should I pack?
+
A destination-specific packing list is sent after booking, tailored to that trip’s activities and climate.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
+
Yes — tell me when you book and meals are planned around them.
